The spirit of the holidays is coming to life in Mineral with the advent of the first annual Marché de Noël, an enchanting evening holiday market that promises good food, festive lights, local craftsmanship, and the joyful sounds of the season. The event will take place on December 13th from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Mineral Farmer’s Market.
Visitors will stroll through twinkling stalls filled with handcrafted gifts, artisanal treats, local food and holiday decorations – all offered by local farmers, bakers, and makers. The Marché de Noël will feature:
- Dozens of local vendors offering unique handmade goods and seasonal delicacies
- Music and caroling to fill the night air with holiday cheer
- Hot cocoa, coffee, chai, and a festive food truck for cozy winter comfort
- Visit from Santa Claus for children and families
- Beautiful light displays and decorations transforming the Mineral Farmer’s Market into a winter wonderland

The Marché de Noël will be held at the Whitlock Family Park/Mineral Farmer’s Market field, located at 81 Louisa Avenue (522 N). Admission is free.
Located at 81 Louisa Avenue (522 N), the Mineral Farmer’s Market has been a cornerstone of the Louisa and Lake Anna community, dedicated to supporting local farmers and artisans while promoting sustainable practices. The Marché de Noël is just one of the many initiatives aimed at fostering a vibrant local economy and community spirit.
Additionally, there will be two Holiday Markets in December, on the 6th and the 20th. Expect most of the regular seasonal vendors, plus a handful of crafters. The Holiday Markets will be at the regular location on the field at 81 Louisa Avenue in Mineral.
