For those seeking a non-traditional holiday parade experience, Lake Anna may offer the perfect setting this season. The Lighted Boat Parade, organized by the Lake Anna Business Partnership, is an annual tradition in which boats are festively decorated and adorned with lights for a spirited ride on the water.
The 2025 parade will take place on Saturday, December 6. Spectators may reference estimated viewing times for the public viewing locations (Tim’s on Lake Anna at 5:15pm; the Lake Anna State Park at 5:55pm/6:00pm; the marinas at 6:45pm; and Lake Anna Taphouse at 7:00pm) or enjoy the parade from reserved locations, like at the Boardwalk Hotel on Lake Anna, along the route.
Also a public viewing location, the Lake Anna Taphouse will host a vendor village, music and other activities.
